At H.W.Whiteley we have the facility to use CAD to help with are engineering techniques as we can use this to visualise how a component / part is going to look before manufacturing the component, this shows us what area’s might need to be changed or modified to help with material waste & also you can view the forces a component maybe under when in use by applying a force in the animation side of the software. The software we use is SolidWorks.
